Our Kent & Sussex Logs are from coppiced woodland, that has been used for logs & fencing for generations.

Coppicing is the art of cutting trees to ground level allowing vigorous regrowth and a sustainable supply of timber logs for future generations. Trees that are cut down in this way can produce shoots that grow over 30cm in a week and a tree can live many times longer than if the tree had not been cut down at all.

By continuing the traditional methods of loging in an Ancient woodland we are continuing the natural method of sustainable log production.

Kent and Sussex logs are stored in a barn to season for at least 10 months to a year. The Cord wood Logs (logs over 4 feet) are then cut to size to fit fireplaces, inglenooks and woodburners.

Kent and Sussex logs are delivered locally and further a field. We have the logs for your needs.
